budapest rakpart1The Conference and Exhibition will be held in Buda Campus of Szent Istvan University (H-1118 Budapest, Villányi út 45.) at the foot of Gellert Hill (Liberation Monument) and is closed to city center. The famous Christmas Fair of Budapest will be open at Advent Time from December 2 (Sunday) to December 31. The Christmas market is a great place to visit and buy something unique and original gifts or just to enjoy the magical atmosphere.

- Shopping hours: usually from 10.00 to 18.00. Most shops are closed on Sunday's.

- Value Added Tax: VAT (in Hungarian ÁFA) is charged (except in duty-free shops), the rate is 27% (in restaurants 18%).

- Tipping: Tips in restaurants and for taxis – depending on the service – are optional but expected. Maximum rate is 10%. There are some restaurants where a service charge is billed, in this case do not tip.
