On behalf of the Organizers, we cordially invite you to attend the 5th FoodConf (Conference on Food Science Technology and Innovation), which will take place from 20-21 November 2025, in Budapest, Hungary.
The 5th FoodConf is organized by the Institute of Food Science and Technology, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), and supported by the Food Science Committee and the Committee on Agricultural and Biological Engineering of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
The idea of the conference is to bring together scientists, scholars, engineers and students from the Universities and from the Food Industry to present ongoing research activities, and hence to foster research relations between the Universities and the Industry. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates from all over the World to exchange new ideas and experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find new partners for future collaboration.
We look forward to welcoming you to this special event, which will focus on the relationship between nutrition and health, consumer habits, product and technology development, digitalisation, AI, biotechnology, sustainable production system, handling food waste/by-products, future food innovation. Together we will seek innovative solutions to the challenges of the future to build a healthier and more sustainable food system!
The official language will be English. Presentations will include invited plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations.
